It is wonderfully fabulous to be a family of three again. Eli is especially enjoying Daddy's presence.
And so, we bid this year (and blog) adieu. It's been an amazing year, a challenging year, a productive year. Jason has thousands of document photos and hundreds of pages of notes to work through and the next time you see him, ask him to dazzle you with his Spanish AND Portuguese linguistic talents: hands down, his research year was a success. We certainly lived in many 'unknown lands' (in every sense of the phrase!) but have extraordinary experiences and memories which have already and will continue to shape our lives. Next up? A return to Durham, where I'll pick up at my previous RN job at Duke and Jason will start a semester of writing/TA-ing at UNC.
